Your privacy, simply explained.
What we collect
Nothing. NU Stadium Guest Parking Alert does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs.
What stays on your device
The app uses your device's local storage only to remember:
- Notification preferences — which events you've opted in to receive reminders for
- Cached schedule data — a copy of the parking restriction calendar so the app works offline
This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server and is not accessible to anyone other than you. You can clear it at any time by deleting the app.
Push notifications
All notifications are local notifications — they are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS or Android. No push notification server is used and no device token is sent anywhere.
You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
Third-party data source
Parking restriction schedules are fetched directly from the publicly available City of Evanston website. This is a read-only request — no data about you is sent to the City of Evanston in connection with this app. The request carries no identifiers beyond a standard HTTP User-Agent.
Children's privacy
This app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected at all, COPPA compliance is straightforward: there is nothing to collect.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a material change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
